OUR STUDIO: THE ARCHITECTURE OF WELL BEING.

An ethic of thoughtful design, sustainability and collaboration.

THREE SIXTY ONE weaves these three threads in a innovative approach to create healthy, enlivened architecture. With a background in construction, we work side by side with contractors to ensure the design intent and quality construction are executed. High quality construction and eloquent design must be inextricably linked for a successful project. With an emphasis on collaboration, we assemble teams drawing from a pool of qualified consultants that are tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients and the project .

We love what we do here and bring our passion to each project regardless of size. As parents of young (but growing fast!) children, we strive to practice an Architecture of Well Being. Our commitment to sustainable architecture resulted in a groundbreaking bamboo structural prefabricated panel house. See the Bamboo House in our portfolio for more details.

The founder, Daniel Weaver, AIA, graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Conservation of Natural Resources and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Washington. Prior to founding THREE SIXTY ONE, he was part of the founding faculty at San Francisco’s first public charter high school, Leadership High School. Early in his career he formed a design build firm, offering clients both architecture and construction services. He values learning about energy efficient, healthy homes and encourages clients to take up the mantle as well.

Uli Zinnkann brings a multitude of talents to THREE SIXTY ONE, not the least of which is her zest for living a creative, enlivened life. She received her graduate education in Germany and subsequently moved to New York City where she designed interactive exhibits while working at ESI Design. Subsequently, Uli came west, settling in San Francisco where she continued designing exhibits for two prominent design firms, West Office and Gyroscope. Uli proudly became a US citizen in 2014 after living here for 20 years. She brings balance, joy and flair to our design work.
